Crystal Bowl Healing
Today I attended my second Crystal Singing Bowl Meditation class with Priscilla Gale at Sea in the Sky Healing and Wellness Center in Hebron, CT. The healing sounds of Crystal Singing Bowls release stress, fear, tension and pain. It was absolutely amazing. I felt totally refreshed and like energetic blockages has been released. While in meditation, I even saw geometric shapes in my mind’s eye that shifted as Priscilla was playing different bowls. I found it so fascinating that I did a little research to learn more about what is going on:
Our bodies are composed 60-90% water and according to Priscilla, water is liquid crystal. We have all heard of the three states of water (solid, liquid, gas), but there is a 4th, less discussed state of water. This 4th phase of water is referred to as: Structured Water, Liquid Crystal Water or the 4th Phase of Water. This 4th phase of water is referred to as Liquid Crystal Water, due to the fact that Quartz Crystal has the same molecular arrangement. The spiraling movement of water in nature combined with Earth’s electro-magnetic field, has the effect of grouping H2O molecules such that they structure themselves into a regular hexagonal & tetragonal matrix creating OH4. Quantum physics describes the universe as energy, with energy and matter being interchangeable. Everything in and around our bodies resonates to sound. Sound/Music is universal. As such, since our bodies are made up of vibrations, the body responds to vibration at the crystalline level. Because Crystal Singing Bowls are sine waves that go through solid matter, working in all layers of the body’s vibrational resonance as well as through bones, muscles, organs, blood and cells. Crystal Singing Bowls are uniquely powerful healing instruments as they are excellent carriers of the universe. As the bowl’s vibration is literally “heard” through every cell of the body, the frequency vibration works to align with the body’s own frequency vibration, thus affecting change (and in some cases, correct) the dissonant harmonic frequencies of disease. The crystal bowls act as a resonant guide to bring back wholeness for energy that has lost its natural state. Once in balance, the body’s system can re-establish that resonant baseline for perfect health, because our bodies hold within every molecule, cell, blood, bone, organ, etc., the memory of perfect health. This coming into balance allows you to create and become a symphony of health and vibrancy. We resonate healthy or unhealthy. When we are out of "resonance," we have dissonance - we're unhealthy and disease can occur. The bowls resonate with the crystalline and water elements that we are made of, helping to re-align our natural/healthy vibrational state.
Each crystal bowl is tuned to the exact frequency of the 7 major notes of the ‘C’ Major diatonic scale as are the 7 energy centers of the human auric body, our chakras. One full octave also represents the 7 primary colors, as we are sound and light keeping cells vibrating together. So both color and sound each form energy that vibrates. Therefore, energy is not only pattern, it is vibration that has structure. Each layer of the aura (energy fields) extending out from the body has its own set of vibrations which is permeable and programmable. A healthy human being is not just a physical state. We have more than one body – we are comprised of subtle energy bodies; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. In a healthy human being, all these energy bodies flow harmoniously and freely. Each specific musical tone and vibration of the bowls awakens and stimulates the chakras, organs, tissues, bone and cells of the body to remember the patterning for perfect health, thus allowing the body to come into full alignment and promote healing on all levels.
